Guardianship Program

At Furever CavaliersTM, we believe that every dog deserves a loving, nurturing home where they can thrive and be part of a family. That’s why we’ve created our Guardianship Program, a unique opportunity for families to welcome one of our exceptional Cavalier King Charles Spaniels into their home at a reduced cost. In return, these families partner with us in the continued health and development of our breeding program.

Benefits of Joining Our Guardianship Program:

  • Companionship: Enjoy the love and joy of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in your home.

  • Support: We provide all necessary health screenings and costs pertaining to breeding.

  • Contribution: You will be responsible for all aspects of the dog's care, including routine vet visits and immunizations, ensuring they live a happy and healthy life.

Common Questions About Guardianship

What is a Guardian Home?

A guardian home is a special arrangement where one of our Cavaliers lives full-time with a loving family, but remains a part of our breeding program. This allows our dogs to grow up in a family environment while contributing to the health, temperament, and pedigree of future generations. Guardian families enjoy all the benefits of owning a beautiful Cavalier while helping us responsibly expand our program.

Who Can Become a Guardian Family?

We look for families who:

  • Live within driving distance of our program in Highland Utah, so they can easily bring their dog for breeding and other needs.

  • Have a secure yard and space for a dog to play and exercise regularly.

  • Are willing to maintain the dog's health with proper nutrition, regular vet visits, and grooming.

  • Can provide a stable, loving home, with a commitment to keeping the dog safe and healthy.

  • Understand the commitment involved, as your dog will be required to come back to us for scheduled breeding purposes.
